Matthew Gilligan CA
Matthew is a Chartered Accountant and has been practising since 1992. Since GRA's inception, the company has grown exponentially in staff and services offered.
His division specialises in an asset planning process which involves designing asset ownership structures to deal with protecting assets, estate planning and tax minimization goals collectively.
Matthew has been involved in asset planning and property market for over 16 years.
Matthew is a well known speaker on asset planning and property matters. He presents annually at Thrive Auckland and Thrive Waikato. He also speaks to various Property Investor Association groups, Chambers of Commerce, Retailers Associations, Builders Association amongst other groups in society.

John Rowe CA
John is a Director and Shareholder where he leads the Business Services Advisory Team.
In addition to managing the delivery of advisory and accounting services to a large diverse client base, John specialises in providing practical and technical expertise to business owners and professional practices.
But it's John's commitment to providing clients with a high level of service that makes the difference. His leadership and rare 'stewardship' approach to his team means that their dedication is felt by clients.
John regularly presents to property groups, business owners, trade associations and national business development organisations.
Prior to joining Gilligan Rowe & Associates Ltd, John worked in a specialist litigation support and valuation practice, assisting high net worth individuals and publicly listed companies with new business set ups, expansions, profit improvement, compliance, tax advice and internal management.

Janet is a Director and Shareholder of GRA Trustees Services Ltd. She leads the Trustee Services division at GRA where she assists Trustees and Directors to comply with their duties, ensuring Trusts and Companies are operated efficiently and lawfully. Through the expertise Janet possesses, she is able to help clients develop and maintain effective structures to purchase property, conduct business activities and protect their assets, often through a family trust. She holds an accounting degree and a law degree and has practiced in the area of Trusts through different law and accounting firms for many years.
Much of Janet’s time has been spent writing numerous articles on trustee and estate planning matters for different publications such as the New Zealand Property magazine, Verve magazine, Essentially Home magazine and Business to Business Newspaper. She has also contributed to a number of leading websites and is a frequent contributor to other parties Newsletters. A milestone in the writing life of Janet was her first book, entitled Family Trusts 101, which was published in July 2010.
Besides from being a prolific writer, Janet is a renowned speaker. She is a warm and friendly presenter, who mixes experience and humour to make her point and entertain. She presents at seminars held by Property Groups, Chambers of Commerce, Retailers Associations, Women’s Groups, Banking Institutions, Home Shows, Mortgage Brokers and Management organizations. She has also presented at Thrive Auckland and Thrive Wellington, the biggest business events held in New Zealand.
When Janet is not writing, presenting or helping clients, she likes to spend her spare time working out at her local gym, socializing with friends, looking at antiques and art, reading and watching crime movies.
